Captain Keith holds a United States Coast Guard Masters Captain License, Michigan DNR inspected, and Lake Erie Ohio Guide. He also is currently certified in: Assistance Towing, Federal Communications Commission- Marine Radio Operator Permit, Professional Association of Dive Instructors-multiple specialties, and first aid. He received his captains training through Sea Tech Marine Training and is a member of the American Professional Charter Boat Association Drug Consortium. This means your captain is 100% drug free and susceptible to random drug testing.
Your captain has grown up on the Great Lakes with over 40+ years of experience boating and fishing. He is a United States Navy Veteran and a retired first responder. He enjoys taking out both the novice and experienced fisherman.
2021 HewesCraft Ocean Pro 240HT (Pacific Northwest Style Boat)
YOUR VESSEL:
You will be fishing out of a 2021 Hewes Craft Ocean Pro 240 ET. The boat is ocean rated and its overall length is 26’8″. The boat is powered by a 300 HP Suzuki digital outboard and a Suzuki 9.9 HP kicker outboard. It is equipped with a Lowrance HDS 12 GPS/fishfinder with auto-pilot, Itroll speed module, Fish Hawk speed sensor unit, Recon Fishing System rod holders/track system, and fishing gear. This is an excellent and large fishing platform while basking in the summer sun. Should the weather become rainy and cold, the fully enclosed cabin has an on-board diesel heater system to keep everyone warm and dry. There is a porta-potty located under the rear jump seat with a privacy curtain. The Hewes Craft handles the Great Lakes like a champ and it will give you a comfortable ride. Our boat is kept very clean and is sanitized before each trip. We want you to have a memorable experience and fun!
